In 2022 Josh and Brittany lived in Cape Coral, FL when Hurricane Ian hit their city and affected thousands people catastrophically. The church they were working for at the time rallied together and became the hands and feet of Jesus, by providing disaster relief for their community. This is what sparked the desire in their hearts to plant a church that will be the same hands and feet for the greater St. Louis area.
St. Louis has had its fair share of division over the last few years so they felt like God was calling them to plant a church that could help build bridges between people from all walks of life.
Bridge City Church has a goal to start meeting weekly in fall of 2025.
Our Story
Josh and Brittany met while serving at the same church in 2015, and have been married for six years now. They have a one year old daughter, Elayna and a mini golden doodle named Winston. You can often find them all enjoying one of the many parks our city has to offer, trying new foods, and visiting new cities.
Josh has been serving in ministry since 2014, he has had the privilege of serving in many different areas over the last ten years. He started serving in ministry as a Children’s Pastor and an Associate Campus Pastor. He got to be a part of running children’s departments, church campuses, and planting churches in unique environments. Over the last ten years, while mostly serving as a Children’s Pastor this is where his heart for not only children but parents and families grew. Josh cares deeply about people, their well being and strives to make a positive impact on his community through the gospel of Jesus.
Brittany started serving in ministry in 2016, she has been a part of worship teams and administrative rolls. She enjoys administrative work, but has a passion for leading worship. She’s introverted and values one on one personal relationships. You can often find her taking care of Elayna, lending advice to a new mom, or doing vocal warm ups to hone her craft. She truly aspires to give her best at everything she does.

We worship the creator God: Yahweh who gave life to all living creatures and desires to have relationship with us. God is revealed to us in three ways, God the Father, Jesus the Son, and His Holy Spirit.
